DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, unlike 26 jurisdictions (23 states plus the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands) Florida does not currently offer licensing or registration laws for naturopathic doctors (NDs/NMDs). Dr. Amanda Scott maintains an active Naturopathic Physician license in the state of Massachusetts, and LDN (Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist) licenses in both Florida and Illinois. Both the Florida Naturopathic Physicians Association and the Illinois Association of Naturopathic Physicians are working to obtain state licensure so that the care licensed NDs provide is more accessible. Dr. Scott works within the scope of the LDN license in both Florida and Illinois while state licensure for NDs is awaited. Dr. Scott works within the scope of her ND license for Massachusetts patients.
