What began as a personal journey to understand her own health became a lifelong commitment to helping others find answers, uncover the root causes of illness, and create lasting health.
Long before pursuing a career in medicine, Dr. Amanda Scott knew she wanted to dedicate her life to helping others. As a child, she spent weekends volunteering with local organizations and helping develop a mentoring program for the equine therapy nonprofit Horses Healing Hearts. In high school, she was selected for the Bank of America Student Leaders Program, where she continued serving her community through leadership and volunteer initiatives. During college, she worked with Boston Medical Center's Program for Integrative Medicine and Health Disparities, helping develop innovative group visit models to expand access to integrative healthcare in underserved communities. While the path she would ultimately take was still unfolding, her purpose had always been clear.
During her time at Boston University, Dr. Scott realized that truly helping people required more than a single perspective. She became convinced that the best care comes from understanding the body through multiple disciplines and integrating the strengths of each. While conducting immunology research in a Boston University biotechnology laboratory, she developed a deep appreciation for scientific inquiry and evidence-based medicine. That experience ultimately led her to pursue extensive graduate training in naturopathic medicine, nutrition, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine—building the multidisciplinary foundation that defines her practice today.

Today, she maintains licensure as a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in both Florida and Illinois.
